That should be an immediate death penalty, right there. No insanity plea, no ‘I was on drugs’, nothing less. And the fact there were bystanders… ghastly. Could they not be charged with abetting a crime?
Men CANNOT be mothers and women CANNOT be fathers. Kids are best served by growing up with both parental role models as long as A.) each parent displays genuine love and support
and B.) is a normally rational coherent person.
Parents aren’t perfect but neither are kids. People are humans, given to making mistakes, occasional bouts of annoyance and it’s good for kids to see parents work through personal/relational problems, especially when they(parents) can admit they have given something more thought and decided to revise a previous position. It demonstrates to kids that remaining teachable and making mistakes can be helpful in navigating life and helps them see you can forgive yourself as well as others. Pp
