Sounds like American cops are being infected by the British woke disease.

Exactly. This is not the UK!

I wonder if Officer Stogner is a member of the Mounted Dyke Patrol?

No way she could be! Clydesdales are only bred to pull big loads, not carry them!

Shades of Great Britain. Two-tier justice here.

Disgusting "police" actions.

It's EVERYWHERE. Check out 'Trinidad Texas Water'. Several stories. The cops perp-walked and jailed a woman for a Facebook post.

LoTT team, once again, you have outdone yourselves! Proud, so proud of of you!

C'mon! These Cops should not be fired! They should not have interfered with the preaching, but to throw away their years of training over these non-violent violations (perhaps inspired by departmental or City policy directives) would be gross over-kill.

Maybe. But Stogner seems to have a history of targeted enforcement. She needs to go.

The city employees who issued the directive should be fired as well!

I agree for a number of reasons. First of all, conducting trials and convictions via social media does not respect any due process rights of the officers involved. Part of the reason why we grant those rights to people is that we don't know the details of what happened until there is an investigation. Third, police departments are so restricted now by their city and state governments from intervening in public demonstrations, protests, riots, and mobs, they are unable to do their jobs.
