Democrats brought a woman who appears to be a member of a witch coven that engages in furry play as a key witness in a Dobbs hearing on Tuesday. The Oversight & Investigations subcommittee held a hearing on the impacts of the reversal of Roe v. Wade and "taking away the Constitutional right to an abortion." The subcommittee heard testimony from various individuals on why abortion is “absolutely necessary.”
The use of Dr before a name should only be used for practicing Medical Doctors. Her Ph.D is on Folklore (specifically-> personal narrative, maritime communities, and gendered and racialized work traditions).
At first I didn't connect the dots with Indiana during her testimony, so I thought the slogans were attempting a cute and funny "Who's Your Diaper?" and "Who's Your Abortion Funding?" before realizing that she had actually said, "Hoozier Diaper" and "Hoozier Abortion Funding." Sadly, given the rest of the content, and the many other posts I've seen on this site, a cartoonish cutesy approach to really difficult, (or just crappy) issues, seems perfectly natural!
Do you think it would be helpful to show "regular" Democrats that Democrat leadership is only interested in hearing from the freakiest of the leftist freaks? Like, point out *this* is who Democrats want to hear from, not you, you Democrat mom and you Democrat dad, who are just trying to get through the next week of work, your kid's summer break, buy a few groceries, get an oil-change without wasting a whole day, finally figuring out if you dust before vacuuming or vacuum before dusting, and who was supposed to take the laundry out of the washer and put it into the dryer... Ya know, the Democrats that never even consider worrying about the preferred pronouns of people they've never met, will never meet, let alone talk about in 3rd person. Shouldn't they know which "voters" the Democrat leadership are most concerned about pleasing?

Just a thought.
Wow that was so much worse than I expected. I was literally scrolling through Netflix looking for a horror movie but I'm good now.

And people wonder why I do not vote in federal elections...
I think you should have a leitmotif and I think the one that’d best fit you is “brick in the wall” Pink Floyd
