Been looking into history of Planet Fitness. Clearly something's been REALLY off with the company for a long time. Long before current trans stupidity. Quick search immediately shows negative press from several sources, e.g., about dangerous weight training practices, i.e. not trans/woke related. Current CEO, former New Hampshire governor Craig Benson, is serving in an interim capacity to replace Chris Rondeau, who was fired for mysterious reasons -- while supposedly achieving record revenues etc. This Wall Street Journal headline from 2013 ... odd wording, I thought: "Former Radio Shack CFO Fills Planet Fitness Hole". Thought it odd after reading the following linked Fortune magazine piece from last year about the mystery and secrecy surrounding Rondeau’s termination.
