I pledge allegiance to the Trans-flag of the United States of Dystopia, and to the Banks for which it stands, many Narcissists mocking God, irredeemable, with lawlessness and deceit for all.
On twitter, I posted a response to the “doc”. My liberal friend doesn’t believe this crap is happening. I show this info to the libs, and their response is “fake news”. FFS
You have my sympathy. It can be VERY disheartening. My 3 siblings and a few of my oldest friends are lost to me. They inhabit a parallel reality, believing every woke, black lives matter, Biden, CNN propaganda. The whole catalogue of lies. This is not what our family stood for for generations. Anyone whose only source of information is mainstream media is literally living in a world separate from ours. Then Facebook came along, and that was the death blow. My siblings and old friends are on Facebook continually.
Ah, and Prodigal, I feel your pain. My staunch conservative dad and middle-of-the-road mom raised 5 of us. My three brothers are flag waving conservatives, my sister a liberal puke (to quote my brothers). When we were in our 30’s and 40’s the family parties got rowdy, our parents walked out, and the booze was put away for fear of bodily harm. We knew we could not exist with our loud opinions, so we all decided not to bring up politics. That’s a good thing, as we basically get along in our 60’s. But I was the silent fighter, never yelling nor slamming my fist on the kitchen table. I wrote letters to the liberal newspapers, spoke up at public meetings, attended a Trump rally in FL 2016. I was determined NOT let Hillary into the White House! I purchase temporary stick-on tattoos “TRUMP 2016”, with an American Flag on top. I wore them everywhere, and never once did I get negative feedback. On a plane from Ft Myers to Buffalo I got a standing ovation. Sadly, about 25% of my family/friends remain woke liberal covidiots - it’s so painful. (BTW: I kept the unused TRUMP/flag tattoos, & cut off the “2016” I’ll be wearing them.
Thank you for this CarolAnne ... did my heart good. Had to laugh too, because "rowdy" is exactly the word to describe the atmosphere when my family all got together. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. The love doesn't die, of course, but that's why not being able to communciate is so hard. Cannot reach them. Good on you for showing your "colors"! Hoping and praying that the tide will start to turn soon.
