Oak Park High School students in Kansas City, Missouri just got sent a message loud and clear: boys are just better at things than girls are. Even at being a girl. Tristan Young, a male student who identifies as a female, was crowned the homecoming queen this week. He beat out four lovely female candidates because actually identifying as the gender that you are is like, sooo 2010.
I've never really cared much personally for these contests but some people certainly do and it's unfair that it's getting stolen from them. Crowning a dude in a dress is just virtue signaling. Everyone knows the dude shouldn't have won.
By and large parents have been silent in their protests against the manhandling of their daughters. As long as that continues girls will be victims and insanity will rule.
Is it possible students were coerced into voting for this obviously ugly person for their homecoming queen? Every one of those young ladies is more attractive than he is. The fake smiles on all their faces tell the true story.
Itr starts with the School Board - Get rid of the woke liberals who not only allow this travesty but promote it. It's sad for for the boy who won because at best it was a sympathy vote and at worst a mockery/joke and he's being laughted at and doesn't even know it.
I’m unclear if the historical “women’s movement” is vocal about the fact that gender ideology is effectively trying to erase women. It’s horrible that it happens anywhere, but I’m saddened wherever it occurs. And it’s not An ugly person who won. It’s a dude who beat out female contestants
I think a LOT of teenagers would vote for the guy just as a prank. They do not get that they are telling someone who is suffering from a delusion that the delusion is real. They are being cruel without realizing it. But the government and media should know better so when they do it, it is unbelievable cruelty.
Re: the students voting for him, most likely all members of the wokie cult (which might be as much as 1/2 of the kids) voted for the boy, because that's what their cult requires. Then all of the other votes were divided up between the four women. That's how he won (well, and administrators and teachers pushing this despicable insanity)
“It should not be an act of extremism to call boys and girls what they are, and tell them to stick to their gender’s sports teams or awards category.” I agree, however those of us who are still sane should use the correct term “sex” vs the made-up, woke term “gender” when referring to male and female.

I read a post from a leader of the Parasol Patrol recently, an organization that provides support to drag queens, that they “stole the rainbow from God”. These people and the things that they are fighting for, originate from a hatred of God, their rejection of Him and His word. They serve a different master.
Twisted episodes like this make glaring the difference between boys and girls, highlighting the obvious absurdity of the left's demand that women and men are the same, and that sex is assigned at birth. The left is proud of these moments though they actually make clear the ridiculousness of the left's deranged dogma. As with mental disorders in general, the afflicted have zero self awareness of the problem.
