A Win For Cobb County Students and Families! On August 19th, we reached out to the Cobb County School District via email to ask them for comment on why they were offering pornographic themed books to their students. One of the books offered is “Flamer” which contains graphic depictions of sex and discusses watching porn and masturbation.
Thank you for making us aware of this. I live here in metro Atlanta, my husband’s family has been here for generations. It was heartening to see the kind of response we SHOULD be able to expect.

Why do they offer these things in the first place. "We didn't know"??? Who is in charge? Why is there not a system instituted so there is not repeat? What is being done to prevent future incursions?
Because they are not counting on folks like Libs of TikTok to shine light on their misdeeds. Let's be honest here...these school administrators are not stupid. They know full well what they are doing. It is all about subverting the family structure and causing divisiveness everywhere. That is the Marxist playbook...
The absolute best way to get such books removed from school libraries, where they clearly do not belong, is to make the powers that be well aware of the most offensive parts in a public meeting if possible. If a parent wants their child to be exposed to these books, they can go to public libraries, book stores, on-line book sellers, etc.
Removing such books from school libraries is not censorship. Amazon will not sell Ryan Anderson's 'When Harry Became Sally' even though it does sell other books that do not look favorably on transitioning from one sex to another. The simple solution? Buy it elsewhere. Amazon has the right to not sell it.
You are doing God's work. I am pleased with their response but disgusted that it got there to begin with, it sounds like the school board itself is fine but does not know how to rein in the leftists in charge of the individual schools.
I believe you are correct. This is why we should not only demand they remove the material but also institute prevention and transparency. WE know what they are doing and are not going to allow it to continue when they think no one is looking.
